Senior HR Data Analyst

Come join the team and see how we can make a lasting impact on the world.On the HR Analytics team, we build, standardize, and automate reports for Nvidia’s HR leaders. We create visualizations with easy to interpret analytics, uncover key drivers in data, promote data integrity, and educate end users to drive self-service adoption. We are looking for a Senior HR Data Analyst. In this role, you will partner with leaders in HR to influence business decisions by turning data into meaningful insights. Our findings support ongoing efforts and drive new HR initiatives.What You’ll Be Doing• Translate data and trends from Eightfold into stories to drive business decisions• Create visualizations in Tableau from which leaders can easily draw insights and recommendations• Build and automate easy to use, self-service reports and dashboards• Provide direction and coaching to end users on how to use and interpret metrics• Audit data integrity, investigate concerns, and establish processes to streamline and improve data quality• Partner cross functionally with IT to improve our SQL based HR analytics data warehouseWhat We Need To See• Bachelor's degree in a field where you have analyzed and displayed data or equivalent experience• Demonstrated, deep knowledge using SQL• 8+ years of experience in reporting or analytics for global HR organizations• Expertise in crafting custom reports/dashboards in Workday HCM, Workday Recruiting, and Eightfold• Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel• Expertise in building visualizations in Tableau• Strong initiative, curiosity, and comfort with uncertainty• Excellent presentation/communication skills and ability to explain technical subject matter to a non-technical audience• Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment and can alternate between strategic projects and tactical reporting/analysis requestsWays To Stand Out From The Crowd• Proficiency in Alteryx, R, or Python• Experience with machine learning or text mining• Experience with Eightfold reportingWith competitive salaries and a generous benefits package, NVIDIA is widely considered a desirable employer. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.You will also be eligible for equity and benefits .
