Technical Marketing Manager - Open Models

Community models like Nemotron4, Llama3, Gemma2, and others provide open access to pre-trained weights and model code, encouraging research and development. NVIDIA optimizes these models, reducing the time needed, so that researchers and developers can achieve breakthroughs and do their work more efficiently.


We are looking for a Technical Marketing Manager to support and promote NVIDIA’s work with open models. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with multiple product, engineering and marketing teams to plan and lead launches, celebrating open models and driving their adoption. Do you understand AI Models, their use cases, ecosystems, and how they are pre-trained, fine-tuned, and deployed? If so, this role may be right for you!


What you’ll be doing:


  • Messaging, positioning, and promotion plans to drive the adoption of open models on NVIDIA GPUs.
  • Produce a diverse portfolio of technical content including blogs, whitepapers, case studies, and presentations, highlighting NVIDIA’s optimizations and software tools for open models.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to understand the open model landscape.
  • Support community managers in building positive relationships with community leaders through active participation and outreach.
  • Write and publish content for new releases, performance benchmarks, and more.
  • Work with executives to launch new products and support keynotes


What we need to see:


  • 10+ years of meaningful work experience creating and delivering compelling technical content to developers
  • Graduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar (or equivalent experience). MBA preferred (or equivalent entrepreneurship experience)
  • Knowledge of the ecosystem, including compilers like XLA, MLIR, and frameworks like PyTorch, JAX, and ONNX.
  • Comfortable reviewing Python code used in presentations, demos, and articles.
  • Comfortable with digital marketing, and social media.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills, including strong PowerPoint and markdown skills.
  • You love to thrive in a cross-functional organization, by collaborating with peers across teams and functions.
  • Deep organizational skills, capable of balancing multiple projects at the same time.
  • Please provide writing samples of public-facing technical content.


Ways to stand out from the crowd:


  • Product marketing experience at a company training frontier AI models.
  • Hands-on experience with running community models on NVIDIA GPUs.
  • Hardworking and highly motivated with measurable results (metrics, awards, key accomplishments) you can share.
  • A growing portfolio of blogs and social posts with links to your relevant work, including technical writing, social media presence, videos, and research papers.

The base salary range is 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
