Python Developer (.NET)
Octal Philippines Inc. is on the lookout for a skilled .Net with Python Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will utilize your expertise in both .Net and Python to create, maintain, and enhance high-quality software applications. Key Responsibilities
- Review of business requirements and functional specifications and identification of issues and questions related to it;
- Design technical specifications and code programs based on the technical specifications developed;
- Perform unit testing, code review, and performance analysis;
- Documentation applications through the creation of documents such as but not limited to functional specifications, data model, program documentation, and other;
- Provide production support, investigate issues raised by users, and manage technical activities like application testing, program optimization, and others; and
- Perform any other function or task related to the foregoing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables
- Design, develop, and test software applications using both the .Net and Python frameworks
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
- Troubleshoot and debug software applications to address issues and improve functionality
- Ensure software quality through testing and documentation
- Maintain and upgrade existing software applications as required
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in .Net development and Python programming
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- At least 1-2 years of experience in .Net development and Python programming
- Proficiency in C#, VB.NET, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, MS SQL Server, and web development
- Strong knowledge of Python programming and its frameworks
- Good understanding of SQL databases and SQL querying
- Knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
