CEPTON (Nasdaq: CPTN), a leading intelligent lidar solution provider, is seeking a professional, welcoming and detail/process-oriented Office Administrator who is passionate about solving challenges related to the efficient operation of our headquarters location. Working closely with our Director of Operations and partnering closely with our brilliant operations and facilities teams, you will be responsible for ensuring that our facility is welcoming, comfortable and operating smoothly for guests, customers and internal teams.

What You Will Do:

  • Welcome employees, visitors, customers, and vendors; ensure all non-employees check-in at the security kiosk.
  • Assist our Shipping & Receiving department with incoming and outgoing packages, pickups, and special requests as needed.
  • Issue visitor badges and create new employees access badges.
  • Handle incoming phone calls to the company line and route voicemails to the appropriate team members.
  • Manage company lunches, including the placement of orders, receiving the meals, and setup for employees.
  • Support internal teams with printing, scanning, faxing, and other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Support setup of break rooms, conference rooms, and supply cabinets; assist with keeping accurate count of supplies inventory.

Who You Are:

· Have a High school diploma; Associates Degree is preferred.

· Have great customer service experience, 1-3 years is preferred.

· Be organized, detailed, and process oriented.

· Exude a high level of professionalism and communication skills.

· Display great writing skills and phone etiquette.

· Have some computer/tech skills (Microsoft preferred, but not required) such as email, printing, scanning, etc.

Location

· Cepton Headquarters – San Jose, CA.

· Some local on-site visits to vendors (Valid Driver’s License is required).

Cepton is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
The pay range for this role is $25 per hour to $31 per hour. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.

The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $31.00 per hour
