Digital Marketing and Copywriting Intern

As a retail technology implementation expert, OLR connects key retail systems - such as merchandising, point of sale, and eCommerce - to create a cohesive and seamless shopping experience. We bridge the gaps between various retail technologies, ensuring they work together seamlessly through integration, testing, continuous monitoring, and support. 

About the Role 

We are looking for a B2B Digital Marketing Intern with the intention of offering a full-time position where you'll be right in the heart of our marketing action. You will be working closely with our Marketing Manager, helping to bring our marketing strategy to life.  

You'll gain exposure across all facets of marketing, with a focus on creating captivating written and visual content that simplifies our complex solutions and services and captivates senior IT stakeholders in the retail industry.

Contract: Full time contract with 6 months probation

Location: Hybrid - London based

Key Responsibilities: 

• Content Creation: Develop engaging, accessible content that showcases our solutions and services. 

• Storytelling: Transform technical details into compelling narratives that resonate with our audience. 

• Innovation: Introduce fresh, creative concepts to differentiate us in the competitive digital landscape. 

What You’ll Do: 

• Research new content opportunities that may benefit lead generation 

• Assisting in creating LinkedIn monthly posts schedule  

• Create copy for LinkedIn posts, blogs, articles, emails etc. 

• Create graphics for LinkedIn posts, OLR website, presentations etc. 

• Assist in optimising website copy for SEO 

• Create additional pages for OLR website in Squarespace 

• Assist in analysing website performance and suggest ideas on how to improve it 

• Assist with lead generation activities like email marketing and LinkedIn ads 

• Assist in enhancing presentation decks for client proposals 

• Assist in making storyboards, writing scripts and making simple graphic videos for product or service promotion in Canva. 

Who We're Looking For 

Do you have a flair for writing or top-notch communication skills? Are you proactive, imaginative, and passionate about the latest in retail technology? If you're nodding your head, you might just be the perfect fit. While we don’t expect you to be a graphic designer, having a creative eye to maintain or improve our current content is essential.  

• Excellent written and spoken English (attention to detail is essential) 

• Enthusiastic and driven with a passion for retail technology and B2B marketing 

• Ability to work independently and to take the initiative while also being a team player 

• Familiarity with some or all of the following applications: Word, PowerPoint, Squarespace, LinkedIn and Canva 

• As this is an internship, we are open to different levels of experience and qualifications, so whether you are a recent graduate or would like to pivot your career to the tech sector and are passionate about marketing, we look forward to receiving your application.
