You are an experienced business systems professional with in-depth knowledge of business processes and business system analysis techniques. You are someone who understands the needs of a modern, high-growth, and fully remote team. You’ll have a passion for analytical thinking and finding technical solutions to business process challenges.


The Task At Hand:


The Business Systems Analyst reports to the Director of IT and leverages their expertise in software programs, databases, and business strategies to optimize productivity and enhance communication across the organization. In this role, the Analyst will assess both existing and new systems to identify areas for improvement, address recurring issues, and evaluate overall company performance. The position will be responsible for thoroughly documenting current business processes and related technologies, analyzing their effectiveness, and recommending enhancements or new applications to streamline operations and support the company’s strategic objectives.


In This Role, You Will:


• Design, implement, and evaluate advanced information technology systems that support network infrastructure, communications, and core business operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals

• Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to identify technology needs, optimize systems, and ensure IT solutions align with business objectives

• Provide expert support for the SAGE X3 ERP system, focusing on process improvements, database administration, and user guidance

• Administer SQL Server and Azure SQL databases, ensuring data security and optimal performance

• Establish and adhere to Sarbanes-Oxley compliance requirements, maintaining financial and operational integrity

• Assist in the selection, recommendation, and optimization of software applications that meet business needs, considering budgetary constraints and technical requirements

• Assess end-user needs and existing applications to define system requirements and establish technical standards for efficiency and performance

• Maintain and enhance the SPS EDI transaction system to streamline electronic data interchange and improve efficiency

• Provide support for a suite of enterprise applications including Document Management, Workflow Approvals, Supply Chain and Production Planning, Transportation Management, and Trade Promotion Management software

• Oversee the delivery and ongoing operation of IT services by monitoring system performance and managing support activities

• Serve as the primary contact between the company and external application consultants, coordinating efforts to resolve issues and implement new solutions

• Draft comprehensive user guides and oversee the beta testing of systems to ensure reliability and user readiness

• Coordinate and deliver training on company systems to maximize user proficiency and system benefits

• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of systems policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with best practices and regulatory requirements

• Ensure seamless functionality of Microsoft Office and manage the Monday.com platform for project tracking and collaboration

• Provide prompt and effective technical support to company users, enhancing user satisfaction


In This Role, You’ll Bring with You:


• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a relevant field

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience as a business systems analyst

• Excellent understanding of computer systems, cloud technologies, security, network and systems administration, data management, reporting and analytics, and telecommunications systems

• Strong experience with SQL Server database administration

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal teams and external vendor partners

• Excellent leadership and decision-making skills; strategic thinker with the ability to handle multiple priorities concurrently

• Experience with Sage ERP X3, EDI, and Power BI preferred

• A highly analytical mindset

• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Outlook, Slack, and other professional platforms

• Up to 10% travel required: Although this role is a remote work-from-home position, we “Farmers” do meet as a company and/or as a department a few times a year. Anticipate possible travel up to a few times each quarter

• Genuine passion for improving childhood nutrition for a healthier and happier planet

• Desire to contribute to a dynamic, high-growth, purpose-driven work environment

• Demonstrated ability to thrive in ambiguity, deeply understand business needs, develop a cohesive strategy, and make decisions requiring a high level of judgment

• Previous exposure to cross-functional work between Sustainability and IT preferred

• Must reside in the United States to be considered for this position

Compensation:


• Full-Time, Salaried, Exempt

• The anticipated salary range for this position is $85,000.00 to $125,000.00. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a few factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses, stipends, equity, and role-specific perks.
