Payroll Specialist

Ooma is seeking a Payroll Specialist with a strong background in payroll processing to join their team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Payroll processing experience
Working knowledge of payroll best practices
Strong analytical skills
Excellent customer service skills
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Responsibilities

Prepare U.S. semi-monthly payroll for exempt and nonexempt employees.
Ensure accurate, timely processing of payroll in compliance with regulations.
Perform audits prior to payroll transmission and resolve discrepancies.
Prepare payroll-related journal entries and reconciliations.
Support external financial audits.
Maintain awareness of changes in payroll-related laws and regulations.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field preferred
