Job Description

  • Part-time position
  • 2 days per week (Tuesday and Thursdays)

  • 12-month contract (maximum term)

This role plays a pivotal role in building connection and belonging by providing an excellent experience for employees whilst they are in the office.

Own the office experience 
Drive the development and delivery of an in-office experience for staff in a way that enables people to do their best work. 

  • Understand needs: Use data to listen and understand what people really need and desire in the office experience, using this knowledge to inform ideas for continuous improvement and provide an excellent in-office experience for staff

  • Ensure high standards in the smooth running of the office environment including carrying out the day-today activity of maintaining facilities such as kitchens and equipment, aiding in facilitation of key internal meetings such as room set up and catering, managing mail and deliveries

  • Promote OUA’s culture by bringing our purpose to life in our office in a way that is visible, relevant and authentic

  • Partner with people experience for Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) activities. This includes acting as the primary liaison with building management for all safety-related tasks, as well as ensuring the continuous ergonomic requirements of employees

  • Collaborate with individuals who have expertise in office operations; and

  • Maintain relationships with the key company stakeholders for building management and office contractors  

Connector of people 
Deliver an office environment that supports peoples need to connect with one another in a way that is both productive and social; 

  • Participate as a key member of social team, taking a lead role in organising, employee social events and executing social team plans including managing suppliers and internal stakeholders, and coordinating activity during, and pre and post event

  • Assist People Experience with the staff on-boarding and off-boarding

  • Multi-tasking and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise when issues arise
