Our mission is to inspire entrepreneurs and shoppers to find something new. We buy great brands built on Shopify, unlocking liquidity for small business entrepreneurs looking to start new adventures. We manage nearly 50 brands with over 100,000 products across apparel, beauty, home goods, and electronics.
Our team of e-commerce experts and engineers uses our proprietary technology and tooling, and advantages from our size, to grow our brands at scale.
Two million people have purchased OpenStore products, and soon, we’ll launch a consumer shopping app, helping people discover products in an all-new way. OpenStore was started in 2021 by top investor and operator, Keith Rabois, a former executive at PayPal, LinkedIn, and Square, and a co-founder of Opendoor. We are backed with $150M+ from world-class investors such as Atomic, Khosla Ventures, Founders Fund, General Catalyst, and Lux Capital.
We’re looking for a Data Analyst to help us draw insights into what’s next for OpenStore. You’ll work directly within our Data Science & Analytics team to drive the vision and build-out automated dashboards and self-service analytics capabilities. We’re looking for a candidate with business intelligence experience who can use statistical/analytical techniques to translate complex data sets into simple business recommendations cross functionally.
OpenStore has a unique model, where it acquires and operates dozens of individual direct-to-consumer brands. Data is core to the OpenStore strategy; we’re stitching together granular Shopify sales records, product characteristics, ad placements, web traffic and more to construct a detailed view into thousands of digital merchants. This is an opportunity to build the cornerstone of our company to solve deep business problems across each aspect of the organization. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in a fast-paced, ever-changing startup environment.

You like to build and ship. You work proactively and don’t wait for direction to build the processes and dashboards that you know we’ll need right around the corner.
You can work through data ambiguity. You bias toward action and roll up your sleeves when you uncover an issue, taking a complex issue and making it simple for all parties involved.
You are collaborative, organized and thoughtful. You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
