Back-end Engineer

OpenTable, part of Booking Holdings, Inc., is looking for a talented and motivated backend Back-end Engineer to work on exciting projects and contribute to the development of OpenTable’s restaurant platform.

Skills

Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot
Experience with event-driven architectures and streaming platforms such as Kafka
Familiarity with containerized applications using platforms such as Kubernetes
Experience with relational and NoSQL database technologies
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Java and Spring Boot
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and test software solutions
Identify and solve technical challenges and issues
Write tests, conduct code reviews, and document code and architectural decisions
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in Java development

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
