Operational Readiness and Applications Project Manager

Position Overview:
  • SGRE is currently seeking highly talented and motivated candidates for a Project Manager position. The candidate will work together with a multi-disciplinary group to ensure proactive and structured approach to new site set up, ensuring optimal site and turbine performance from Day 1.
  • In addition, this candidate will focus on project management, identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement in operational efficiency, resource optimization and cost reduction, providing leadership for the team involved in the management process groups, controlling phases and keeping stakeholders informed with a focus on cost, time, and quality. This position is in the Service Operations – North America, Operational Readiness and Applications group, which is responsible for driving improvements, productivity, new operational application rollout, and new site readiness throughout Operations.
  • Relocation will not be offered for this role
Responsibilities
  • Conducts all relevant project management activities for various kinds of operational projects with internal focus to meet respective project goals in terms of time, cost, and quality.
  • Develop and drive the Operational Readiness projects and processes
  • Ensure new sites are performing to contractual agreements from Day 1
  • Establish milestones and monitor project performance and adherence to master plan and schedules
  • Have in depth knowledge of site service contractual agreements and help ensure that sites are set up within guidelines
  • Closely coordinate with global and regional counterparts to drive efficiencies and best practices globally
  • Drive continuous improvement of global operational processes, by identifying opportunities for improvement in operational efficiency and control of indicators, defining the project management plan and coordinating it until closure
  • Develop and plan project management, source information on how the project will be planned, executed, monitored, controlled and terminated
  • Project scope management, requirements collection, scope definition, and project analytical structure creation
  • Time management in the project, planning the management of the schedule, defining activities and sequencing, estimating resources and durations for the development and control of the schedule
  • Development of operational indicators and panels for management monitoring of projects
  • Analysis of methods to promote effective activities through standardization, improvement, simplification, discontinuation or other methods
  • Ensure best practices and lessons learned are shared across platforms to facilitate knowledge sharing and encourage collaboration
  • Be self-motivated, able to think quickly and address problems as they arise
  • Ability to Influence and Lead stakeholders to the desired targets.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • Technical knowledge on the different SGRE platforms
  • 3+ years of Wind industry experience
  • 3+ years of project management experience
  • Experience and demonstrated knowledge of Project Management disciplines e.g. customer value orientation, financials, planning & controlling, risk/opportunity management, stakeholder management, quality and EHS, team development, leadership in projects, etc.
  • Advanced MS Office (word, power point, excel) skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a highly paced environment and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
  • Structured approach to project management and ability to handle project changes occurring in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to 25% travel

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
  • IPMA Project Management Level C or B certification
  • Experience with SAP
  • Coding Languages
  • Power BI experience
  • Ability to conduct alarm analysis
