This position does have a Full-time, 8 AM-5 PM, one-year service term.
As the Operations Assistant, the AmeriCorps member will manage the research and outreach needed to identify possible funding opportunities. The AmeriCorps member will research potential FIXUP donors ranging from organizations to grant opportunities. The AmeriCorps member will work with the Community Building Coordinator to identify cost per FIXUP, current and obtained donor funds and track anticipated needed funds to complete every FIXUP project for the service year. The AmeriCorps member will also work with the Grants team by providing grant opportunities that could further fund the materials, tools and other resources needed to complete every FIXUP. The AmeriCorps member will need to engage in outreach efforts to encourage potential donors, residents and organization members learn more about the FIXUP program. The AmeriCorps member will need to conduct monthly funding meeting with the Community Building Coordinator to identify any needs for additional funding campaigns. The AmeriCorps service duties will include; Fund Management, Resource Development research, and management of donor pool. Assist with grant researching.
