Job Description:

• A shipping coordinator responsible for planning and managing activities related to finished goods control, shipping logistics, and analysis of completed build availability to meet customer and program delivery demand

Essential Functions:

• Communicates daily delivery rate needs with contacts within and outside of own team which may include customers
• Explains and interprets the operational processes, practices, and procedures of the job area from unit quality closed to shipping out the door to others within the organization
• Establishes and modifies operational methods and procedures for efficient delivery
• Initiates immediate actions and clear communications in out-of-stock situations
• Ensures materials are delivered to inventory and finished goods with quality/configuration managed approved documentation, packaged according to specifications, and shipped in a timely manner

Qualifications:

• Requires practical knowledge of job area. Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior Inventory Management experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Experience with managing MRP systems
• Able to communicate blockers to meeting daily rates masterfully to operations leadership
