As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for continuously monitoring and improving field operations performance. You will play a key role in understanding, evaluating, and implementing strategic objectives, organizational key performance indicators, and efficient resource allocation. Your leadership skills will be essential in ensuring that our operations supervisory team and field operations staff are aligned with our goals, values, and mission.
- Support, guide, coach, and counsel Operations Supervisors, EMS Staff Scheduler, and QI & Clinical Coordinator.

Oversee and manage operational expenses, vehicle maintenance, and supplies while effectively communicating and coordinating with Operations Supervisors and the Director of Operations.

Drive performance management initiatives, tracking key performance indicators and conducting structured appraisals and annual reviews to ensure alignment with organizational standards.

Optimize staffing levels and scheduling efficiency, working closely with the EMS Staff Scheduler and HR for hiring needs.

Collaborate with Human Resources on disciplinary issues and provide interview assistance as needed.

Address service-related concerns, lead investigations, and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.

Manage vehicle accident claims, coordinate insurance processes, and oversee fleet planning and management.

Ensure compliance with state, CHP, and DMV regulations through audits, inspections, and necessary changes.

Coordinate facilities management, assess bids for repairs, and proactively minimize distractions.

Maintain proper management of narcotics, including purchasing, distribution, and inventory tracking.

Act as a point of contact for work-related injuries or exposures, following appropriate procedures and guidelines.

Promote safety and security measures, making recommendations for improvements and taking immediate action when necessary.

Foster effective communication with various departments, keeping them informed and up to date on relevant information.

Handle protected health information (PHI) in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Participate actively in companywide events and meetings, demonstrating support for Royal's mission, values, and quality standards.
- High-school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred).

At least 3-5 years of Field Operations supervision or management required

Active California EMT Certification and strong knowledge of EMS principles and practices.

Excellent customer service, communication, organizational, and time management skills.

Dependable with a positive attitude, capable of multitasking and adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.

Proficient in reviewing data and implementing system performance and efficiency improvements.

Demonstrated experience in conflict resolution and fostering collaboration.

Problem-solving skills with sound reasoning and analysis.

Proficient in basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Google Suite, Traumasoft).
