Operations Manager (Direct Hire with Client)

We are seeking an Operations Manager to become an integral part of our client's team! This is a direct hire with our client in Troy, MI. The majority of this position will working remote, however, you must be able to report to the Troy, MI office when required to be onsite for a meeting. This position is a base salary plus commissions.

What does the Operations Manager do...
Coordinate and oversee a division of the organization's daily operations. We do water restoration, mold and asbestos abatement, hazmat/crime scene cleanup, and fire restoration for commercial clients all across the country.

• Manage inbound work orders from our clients
• Allocate work orders to our project management team
• Daily communication (written, verbal) with our clients
• Ensure SLA attainment, job deliverable completion, etc.
• Develop job quotes and proposals
• Team management
• Data analysis and financial analysis
• Process stuff

• An outstanding work ethic with solid attention to detail skills
• Top notch coordination and organization skills. Especially during natural disasters.
• Excellent communication skills, solid customer service skills when interacting for a variety of people.
• The ability to deliver good news, bad news, unwelcome news, and difficult to understand information.
• Comfortable with ambiguity - this is a virtual role and you will have jobs going on in Alaska, Louisiana, and every other state and you will never be onsite.
• Great trouble shooting skills - you are going to need them.
• Demonstrated operations management and project management success.
• Ability to work with web based tools and office tools
• 5 years of legit operations/project management experience

Helpful skills for this opportunity...

• Experience in the restoration industry, property management, facilities management, the construction industry, or insurance claims management industry
• An above average understanding of trades (electrician, plumbing, HVAC, etc.)
• A four year degree
• Both field experience and office experience

Our client is a growing company where they have a fun culture and value their employees. This is a virtual role, but there will be some time in the office as necessary. There is limited travel involved, but that is not a core part of the job.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
