Operations Program Manager

AS AN OPERATIONS PROGRAM MANAGER YOU WILL:

• Plan, develop, recommend, lead & execute the implementation of approved production facility, equipment, and operating systems for the manufacture of products/product groups to achieve company manufacturing rationalization plans and business direction to execute & improve business performance results and service levels.
• Prepare feasibility studies and analysis of alternate production systems to achieve business direction plans including labor, materials, facilities, equipment, manufacturing systems, and process costs as related to projected sales/profitability.
• Develop detailed justifications for project expenditures required to implement American Operations manufacturing strategy and integrate into plant strategy. This can include new or revised manufacturing systems including capital allocation and strict control of capital and expense monies associated with programs.
• Manage execution of approved projects through implementation within budget authorization, project schedule, and training of operating personnel and integration of new system with existing operation.
• Future projects could include large capital approvals and the responsibility for future product rationalization movements.
• Support day-to-day operations within American Operations and assist Global activities as requested and assigned.
• Support Artificial Intelligent programs / processes into operations, production, and manufacturing systems.
• Safety and Ergonomic enhancements to equipment and process designs a Priority at quoting and design stage prior to build and release of purchase orders and implementation of production processes and systems.

WHO YOU ARE:

You develop project plans, execute projects with multi-functional teams, and bring to them to completion. You have a strong understanding of the manufacturing processes, operating systems, machine tool equipment, and facilities. You are very organized. You have the interest in artificial intelligence, strategies with manufacturing operating systems and processes. You have great presentation skills and communicate well to executives.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• Minimum 10 years of operations management experience in lieu of a degree (Value Stream or Plant Management)

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Continuous Process Improvements, Finance, Economics, or equivalent technical / business degree.
