Job DescriptionJob Title: Director, Infrastructure GIU Internal Communications, Employee Engagement, and Strategic ProgramsJob Overview: We are seeking a dynamic, self-driven, and experienced leader to drive our Internal Communications, Employee Engagement, and Strategic Programs team. This role involves setting direction and alignment across large cross-functional teams, creating, and executing our communications and enablement strategy, and elevating employee engagement on a global scale. The ideal candidate will bring energy, creativity, a growth mindset, and extensive experience in collaboration, executive communications, organizational communications, and employee engagement, with experience working in a global environment.In this role, you will:• Lead and Inspire a Global Team: Manage and mentor a diverse global team, fostering collaboration, professional growth, and high performance. Provide mentorship and guidance to your team, ensuring they have the support, resources, and development opportunities to contribute effectively to organizational initiatives.• Strategic Alignment with Leadership: Collaborate closely with senior leadership to understand and influence strategic direction, ensuring alignment in organizational communications and employee engagement efforts. Act as a liaison between your team and various stakeholders, ensuring alignment and proactive communication across the organization.• Executive Communications Management: Develop, align, and execute executive communications strategies, including messaging, all-hands meetings, and other high-visibility communications, ensuring clarity and consistency.• Internal Communications Strategy: Design, implement, and manage comprehensive internal communications plans, including the development and optimization of communication channels and crafting impactful messaging.• Program Management: Oversee programs such as recognition, cultural initiatives, and service anniversaries, ensuring they resonate globally and enhance the employee experience.• Strategic Initiative Support: Drive the execution of strategic programs, including executive reviews, calendar alignment, and staff meetings, while providing robust support for key executive initiatives.• Enablement Tools Management: Oversee and optimize the use of enablement tools such as Rise360. Specifically manage critical migration projects like OraDocs to SharePoint, ensuring a smooth transition and effective utilization of the Oracle Learning platform. Coordinate with Rick Garcia (primary) and Megan Chappo to ensure successful execution and stakeholder satisfaction in these key initiatives.• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within communications and enablement, driving innovation and efficiency in delivering organizational goals.Qualifications:• Experience:• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in internal communications, employee engagement, or a related field.• Proven experience managing a global, cross-functional team.• Experience developing and executing comprehensive communication and engagement strategies.• Skills:• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.• Strong leadership and team management abilities.• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.• Proficiency in communication tools and platforms.Career Level - M4ResponsibilitiesManages employees who perform project management duties which involving cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of internal products and processes. Oversees plans and directs schedules as well as project budgets. Monitors programs/projects from initiation through delivery and interfaces with internal customers or department personnel. Organizes project activities and interdepartmental meetings.
