Career Level - IC0 Responsibilities MySQL HeatWave team is working on next-generation large-scale distributed systems designed for the most popular database in the world and optimized for the cloud. We need expertise in the following (or related) areas: Database kernel development Query processing/big data analytics System software, including operating system kernels Cloud computing Machine learning Computer Architecture, Compilers, and Programming languages We are looking for candidates with a PhD/ Master’s in CS/CE with: Strong background in design and development Demonstrated research excellence Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including scientific writing, presenting, and formal briefings Disclaimer: Certain US customer or client-facing roles may be required to comply with applicable requirements, such as immunization and occupational health mandates. Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only US: Hiring Range: from $18.99 to $53.00 per hour; from $39,500 to $110,240 per annum. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation. 11 paid holidays Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
