Marketing Intern (Part-time)Location: Remote or Hybrid (Phoenix, AZ area preferred)Company Overview: Orange Charger is a pioneering company in the energy management and electric vehicle (EV) charging industry. We provide innovative solutions that enable property owners to maximize the efficiency of their energy usage and generate ancillary revenue through strategic EV charging infrastructure. Our clients include some of the largest real estate owners in the country, and we are committed to driving sustainable and profitable outcomes for them.Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated marketing intern to join our team. This individual will have the opportunity to contribute fresh ideas, create engaging content, and research industry trends. The intern will collaborate with our team to enhance our brand presence, communications, and strategic initiatives, with a strong focus on LinkedIn, social media, and blog content development. Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, the ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of B2B marketing, social media, and digital marketing strategies, along with a willingness to learn and use Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools effectively. This is a part-time 25-35 hours a week position depending on candidate availability, with the opportunity for full-time in the future.Objectives:• Play a role throughout the marketing cycle in positioning, messaging, and storytelling.• Support marketing campaigns that further the company’s strategic goals• Monitor customer trends, feedback, and satisfaction levels• Apply marketing concepts to solve organizational challenges.• Create and curate engaging content for LinkedIn, social media channels, and company blogs to drive brand awareness and audience engagement.• Provide support for virtual and in-person events, ensuring smooth execution and impactful engagement• Contribute innovative and fresh ideas that can enhance the brand’s presence and engagementResponsibilities• Support teams to plan, develop, and execute various marketing initiatives• Learn and effectively utilize CRM tools to track and manage marketing leads and customer interactions.• Complete projects related to branding, content creation, and social media marketing projects, with a strong emphasis on LinkedIn and blog content.• Assist management with the preparation of marketing campaigns and performance reports• Handle inbound requests from vendors, brokers, partners, customers, and clients• Perform competitive market analysis to identify areas for growth and differentiation• Collect performance metrics to measure progressSkills and Qualifications• Highly curious, quick learner, and resourceful problem-solver• Organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail• Basic knowledge of marketing principles and industry trends• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently on assigned projects.• Effective at prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment• Self-motivated, proactive, and hardworkingPreferred qualifications• Experience with email marketing tools to assist in the creation and management of email campaigns.• Interest in innovation and developing creative approaches to marketing challenges• Experience with LinkedIn, social media management, or content creation for blogs.• Familiarity with basic design tools like Canva, Adobe etc to assist with creating visually compelling marketing and social media graphics.• Understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices to help optimize blog content and improve organic search visibility.• Prior collaboration or personal project management experience• Proven aptitude in seeking creative solutions to multi-faceted challenges• Ability to influence, inspire, and lead from any role• A passion for sustainability and green technologies to align with Orange’s mission and help craft more authentic and compelling messaging.
