Senior Mechanical Engineer

Orbit Fab is dedicated to establishing critical infrastructure for a sustainable in-space economy. We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and optimization of complex mechanical systems.

Skills

Proficiency in CAD and analysis tools.
Strong background in structural analysis.
Experience with project management.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Ownership of the design and analysis of spacecraft systems and structures.
Coordinate closely with Systems Engineering to integrate mechanical systems.
Apply DFM principles to enhance design efficiency.
Manage hardware through the entire design lifecycle.
Communicate effectively with team members and customers.

Education

BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
MS in related field (preferred).
