Sales Development Representative

Description:

We are looking for a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team, working alongside  our Account Executives (AEs) to help identify and develop new business opportunities in the broadcast, streaming, and production sectors. As an SDR, you will be responsible for generating leads, qualifying prospects, and supporting the sales team by identifying high-potential opportunities that align with Orfium's goals. Your role will be essential in helping grow our business globally by driving the early stages of the sales funnel.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Research and identify potential leads through various channels, including LinkedIn, industry events, company websites, and inbound inquiries.
  • Outreach & Engagement: Initiate contact with leads via email, phone, and social media to introduce Orfium’s products and services, nurturing them through the qualification process.
  • Collaboration with AE: Work closely with Account Executives to pass qualified leads, provide background information, and schedule meetings for deeper engagement.
  • CRM Management: Update and maintain accurate lead and contact records in the CRM (e.g., Salesforce), ensuring a robust pipeline is always in place.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competition, and emerging opportunities in the broadcast, music, and media sectors.
  • Support Sales Campaigns: Assist in executing outbound sales campaigns, including personalized email campaigns, event follow-ups, and targeted outreach efforts.
  • Meeting Targets: Consistently meet and exceed monthly lead generation and qualified opportunity quotas.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in a technology, media, or music-related industry.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage decision-makers through concise, compelling messaging.
  • Motivation & Drive: Highly self-motivated with a hunger for success, eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other sales tools.
  • Research Skills: Strong research skills to identify potential leads and new business opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work closely with Account Executives and the wider sales and marketing teams to ensure seamless hand-offs and alignment on goals.
  • Organized: Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment.
  • Music & Media Knowledge: An understanding of the media and music industries is a plus, but not required. Passion for music technology and rights management will set you apart.
