Responsibilities
- Responsible for all broadcast communication.
- Manage the audiovisual control desk as well as manage and program the internal campus television station and the A/V equipment in conference rooms.
- Organize the technical production process.
- Maintain a high level of technical quality in broadcast productions.
- Ensures all production positions are manned, and all equipment and facilities are checked out and ready before a live broadcast begins.
- Operate video switcher, video cameras, audio desk, and associated audio/visual/recording studio systems.
- Create digital effects and transitions, inserts pre-recorded material, graphics and titles as instruction by the clients served.
- Provide training to other members of the technical crew when needed.
- Works with Independent Living Program Office to increase quality of programming.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
Experience: 3 years’ experience in Audio/Video required and must provide a reel/digital portfolio
- Video Editing – must be proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud services, with particular emphasis on Adobe Premiere and Photoshop.
- Media Server Maintenance – properly tagging all assets in media server; pulling footage from server for editing.
- Video Archiving.
- OLN Maintenance – regular check-ups on OLN slides; removing unnecessary information and fixing incorrect usage of slide options.
- Pre-Production for video projects.
- Assisting with live productions.
