About the role:
We're building a network of talented candidates for future full-time CMS Developer III roles. In this position, you'll leverage your in-depth knowledge of content management systems to tackle intricate challenges and craft innovative solutions. You'll independently apply a broad range of specialized skills and best practices to complex projects, ensuring the work you produce adheres to the highest quality standards.
While this role isn't actively open right now, we're always eager to connect with skilled individuals for future opportunities as we expand our team and projects.

Responsibilities:
CMS-based Website Development: Develop, customize, and maintain complex websites and web applications using a specific CMS platform.
Custom Theme and Plugin Implementation: Design and implement custom themes, templates, modules, and plugins to extend CMS functionalities and achieve unique user experiences.
Collaboration for Requirements Translation: Collaborate with designers, content creators, and stakeholders to understand website objectives and translate them into technical requirements.
Website Optimization: Optimize website performance for speed, accessibility, and search engine ranking (SEO).
Best Practices Implementation: Implement best practices for code quality, security, and maintainability.
Issue Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the CMS and website functionality.
Staying Current with CMS Trends: Stay up-to-date on the latest CMS developments, trends, and best practices.
Documentation: Document technical specifications and processes for future reference.
Internal Tools and Workflows: May contribute to the development and maintenance of internal tools and workflows.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a CMS developer with in-depth knowledge of a specific CMS platform such as WordPress, Drupal, or HubSpot.
Proficiency in front-end development languages including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
Experience with templating languages and frameworks relevant to the chosen CMS platform.
Proficiency in performance optimization techniques for speed, accessibility, and SEO best practices to enhance website visibility and user experience.
Expertise in developing custom plugins and themes for CMS platforms.
Strong understanding of web design principles and best practices for user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Knowledge of back-end development and database management is a plus.
Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js, Angular) is a plus.
Understanding of headless CMS architecture and RESTful APIs is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot complex issues and implement effective solutions
Ability to anticipate potential problems and proactively address them.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful delivery. Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) is a plus.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
