BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES INCLUDING LEVEL OF SUPERVISION REQUIRED:
- Assess the needs of Out of School Youth through home contact virtually (or in-person following safety guidelines)
- Provide individualized instruction using virtual platforms (or in-person following safety guidelines) in ENL, TASC, skills or Life Skills to students who are not attending school
- Organize and implement enrichment activities for language development following safety guidelines
- Support students to develop skills for self-advocacy
- Attend Professional Development meetings and training to coordinate services and increase skills
- Maintain all required records such as services provided, student assessment data, student learning plans, etc..
- Make appropriate referrals to community agencies and service providers as needed
- Fulfill other duties as assigned by the Director.
Required Qualifications:
- Bilingual (English-Spanish)
- Driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work successfully with a culturally diverse population
- Ability to work independently as will as part of a team.
- Post secondary education
Preferred Qualifications: * B. S. Degree
- Teaching Experience
- Experience working with farm workers
