Cancer Biology Faculty Positions

The Wilmot Cancer Institute at the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, NY, is recruiting early and mid-career tenure-track faculty as part of a major expansion in basic and translational science research.We seek energetic and innovative scientists to join a highly dynamic, multidisciplinary research community. Attracting more than $30M in cancer-focused funding a year, Wilmot’s core research programs have strengths in RNA biology, cancer metabolism, epigenetics/genomics and plasticity, radiation biology, aging in cancer, and a focus on the tumor microenvironment, including tumor immunology. The center also boasts a world-class cancer control program and an extensive clinical trials portfolio providing numerous opportunities for innovative translational research. Wilmot and UR Medicine are the major cancer care providers in central New York State and the Finger Lakes region, with >6000 new patients annually.
