Job Description:

Blizzard Video is the video production arm of the Story & Franchise Development team. We exist to engage, inform, and activate the global Blizzard community through the creation of epic video content.

The Outsource Producer is responsible for facilitating contracts and communication with vendors, managing asset hand off and retrieval, and coordination of milestones and creative. The Outsource Producer, in conjunction with the Sr Production Supervisor and Project Producers, will establish best practices, workflows, and communication channels to ensure that projects and assets are moving fluidly through the entire pipeline. They will partner with Project Producers and the Marketing team to establish production timelines, asset needs, and the scheduling of vendor resources.

This role is anticipated to be a hybrid work position, with some work on-site and some work-from-home. The potential home studio for this role is Irvine, CA.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all facets of outsource production across all franchise IPs for videos made in partnership with Blizzard Video
  • Build and maintain a current database of vendors and contractors
  • Create and manage all contracts and complete invoice handoff to Finance
  • Establish and manage communication channels between Marketing, BVid, and Vendors
  • Manage handoff of final project assets to Assistant Editorial team for storage and archiving

Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ years working in animation/vfx house post-production house, agency or film/television studio
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with project management software

  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities and able to inspire this in others
  • Self-starting with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with few to no errors
  • Attention to detail as well as the ability to understand the big picture
  • Able to act with discretion when handling confidential matters
  • Proven ability to create, track and maintain complex schedules
  • Self-motivated problem solver with the ability to forge strong relationships within the department and across departments

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $26.83 - $49.63 Hourly. This base pay range is for the U.S. and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
