JOB SUMMARY

Member of the Fem Care Team responsible for operation of Packing Equipment. Ensures safety, quality, production, and scrap standards meet operational objectives, and maintaining a safe work environment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

Responsible for startup and shut down functions of all department equipment as dictated by production schedule.

Relief Operation of equipment as required, analyze data, and utilize test results to adjust equipment.

Performs minor machine adjustments to maintain product quality and process specifications.

Monitors machine operation to assure all operating parameters are being maintained.

Perform rework as needed.

Maintains work area in accordance with 5S standards.

Must consistently meet prescribed safety, quality, production, and efficiency standards.

Maintains strict control of all raw material usages, and product yields.

Communicates process/mechanical abnormalities to Team Leader & Supervisor to facilitate corrections in a timely manner.

Maintains production, batch, and quality records as required.

Follows all Edgewell safety/cGMP policies and guidelines.

Required to work overtime/alternate schedules as business needs dictate.

Responsible for daily turnover communication between shifts with fellow Team Members and Management.

Quality Control of materials as required. (Quarantine of material as required)

Perform other duties as directed by Team Leader and/or Supervisor.

HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Be aware of and follow the Environmental Policy and EH&S work instructions/procedures that apply to the job.

Perform every job safely, for the benefit of self, co-workers, contractors, and for the protection of facilities. This includes the use of required personal protective equipment and use of safety equipment/devices, guarding, as well as safe work practices.

Immediately report every job-related injury or illness, regardless of severity, to a team leader/supervisor.

Assist in investigating accidents as directed by your supervisor.

Take necessary actions to correct or stop any unsafe conditions or practices.

Actively participate in safety meetings and training.

Review Material Safety Data Sheet instructions before working with any chemical product.

Maintain work area in safe condition by ensuring the work area is clean and orderly.

QUALITY ASSURANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

Accurately and timely complete all Quality checks and properly document.

Colleagues are responsible for their own quality and that of colleagues within their span of control.

Colleagues are responsible to follow all established Quality procedures and instructions.

Notify supervision for corrective action if and when defects are found and/or parts/processes do not conform to specifications.

REQUIRED EDUCATION / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

Education :
HS Diploma or GED preferred, or the ability to achieve GED within 12 months of hire. Company assistance available.

Experience :
Over one month, up to six months.

Other Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
None

Testing:
Must prove satisfactory vs. validated standard of STM Operator Task Series.
