Picker and Packer

Responsibilities:

Follow procedures to perform routine packing work. Pick and package a variety of printed materials or print related items that require a limited variety of packing procedures and techniques.

Excellent knowledge of routine and non-routine packing procedures, techniques, equipment, and basic warehouse procedures.
May require basic skill in using heat sealers, cutters, hand and power tools.
May be asked by Shift Supervisor to provide guidance, training or leadership to less experienced packers. Perform other duties as assigned by shift Supervisor
Must be able to maintain focus and productivity rate when working independently.
Must have the aptitude to read various types of measuring instruments (rulers, line gauge etc)
This is an entry level position and full training is provided.

Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs on occasion with or without accommodation
Must be able to keep pace with machine
Can work in a team environment
Must be able to execute physical motions/requirements of the job in a safe manner.

The rate of pay for this role at the noted location is $14.00 - $17.00 per hour. In addition to base pay, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include; overtime, shift differential $2 more for 2nd shift and $3 more for 3rd shift, call-in, and stand-by pay.
