The Role:  Regional Tax Manager (13 month fixed term contract)

What you'll do: 

This is a high profile tax role in a market leading high tech company with indirect tax management at the core of its value proposition.  

The position will report to the Group Tax Director who is based in London. 

The team is looking for a strong accountant who has hands-on experience on managing global indirect taxes. Key responsibilities include:

  • manage the monthly accounting and compliance processes for global indirect taxes,

  • support the business with ad hoc indirect matters from existing customers, buyers  and prospects,

  • manage two direct reports and oversee the work of other tax consultants who provide assistance, and 

  • work closely with another tax manager who is involved in other tax projects such as new tax registrations and automation of tax compliance process. 

A separate tax manager leads North American sales taxes and so a detailed knowledge of US sales tax is not required. The US regional manager will be a peer and they will work very closely together with this person on the monthly close process and controls.

This is a truly global and varied role where collaboration is required across the length and breadth of the business.
