The Role

As a Proposal Writer Intern, you'll work as part of a diverse, generative, and creative team of content creators and business development partners to draft and edit critical market research for capture opportunities. This can include white papers, sales collateral, or RFX work. By collaborating with business development and technical execution stakeholders, your efforts will help expand Palantir’s footprint US Government by writing high-quality and compelling materials to help win business. Detail-oriented, effective communicator, and creative writer, you will learn how to turn complex technical concepts into persuasive proposals, white papers, project vision statements, presentations, and other business documentation. By understanding customer requirements, you will effectively learn how to deliver content that aligns with their business goals/needs. You will write technical and non-technical explanations of our software's capabilities and draft formal proposals that are easily digestible to the target audience.

Palantir is fast-paced, and you may be expected to make decisions independently by weighing many needs and priorities. In this role, you'll wear many hats, arising to new business challenges while growing your skills and domain expertise on the job. We are looking for mission-driven teammates who can jump into any writing project with enthusiasm and produce qualitative outputs within tight deadlines.

• Serve as support on market research and high priority capture request from business development stakeholders
• Support Request for Information (RFI), Request for Proposal (RFP) and other capture opportunities
• Collaborate with other proposal team members, sales team members, and others within the Business Development world to ensure document language will resonate with customers
• Translate technical concepts into easily digestible reading materials for a variety of audiences
• Create persuasive content that showcases our products’ strengths, capabilities, and solutions to address customer needs
• Take high-level details and raw inputs from partners and convert it into high-impact content for proposals
• Help build templates and content from scratch that is easily modifiable across a variety of proposals and request for content

• Eagerness to take on open-ended problems in unstructured environments.
• Ability to be adaptive and introspective; willingness to learn, teach, lead and follow.
• Ability to quickly understand technical concepts, proactively learn with minimal instruction, and think creatively to produce artifacts

• Must be planning on graduating in 2024 or 2025. This should be your final internship before graduating.
