Job Description

Your Career

Palo Alto Networks is looking for an experienced finance professional to join the team as a Finance Business Manager, Corporate Finance. We’re looking for someone with an analytical mind and strong knowledge of finance, who is a self-starter, a great communicator and passionate about driving change in a dynamic fast-paced environment.

This role will be responsible for providing key topline and profitability insights that will drive executive decision-making at the corporate level. This is currently an individual contributor role with future potential for expansion into team management.

Your Impact

  • Produce short-term and long-term revenue and RPO outlook factoring in bookings inputs and other internal initiatives
  • Assess topline impact of new initiatives, opportunities, and accounting policy changes
  • Provide insights around variances to forecast and improve forecasting processes
  • Produce various regular reporting packages including CFO top-line insights, executive team/Board of Directors content, and internal/external auditor close requirements
  • Establish new/improve existing processes for regular reporting and visibility into topline topics such as renewals revenue streams, registration behavior, and theater performance
  • Investigate and provide insights to ad hoc requests to C-level executives

Qualifications

Your Experience 

  • 9+ years related experience showing strong career progression - prior Corporate FP&A experience and/or familiarity with US GAAP revenue standards for technology companies/SAAS companies is a plus
  • Ability to link big picture to details with ease
  • Familiarity in managing large datasets, applying relevant statistical frameworks and concepts, and deriving executive-level insights
  • Strong team player with excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Willingness and ability to adapt to rapid business and organizational changes that accompany a high-growth environment
  • Independent with enthusiasm for solving unstructured questions and providing thought leadership
  • Strong experience with Excel, PowerPoint, G Suite, SAP, and Tableau - Pigment experience is a plus
  • Bachelor degree in Economics/Business/Finance or related field or equivalent military experience required

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $151000 - $244000/YR. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
