As a Physical Therapist Supervisor the critical mentorship and guidance of Physical Therapy Assistants fosters their professional growth and opportunities to experience more of the reward of helping people in our community achieve their care goals. Conducting assessments and evaluations for existing and incoming clients ensures that pediatric and/or geriatric patients are placed on the most efficient and effective paths to receiving the care they need. Through this leadership, patient outcomes are improved, and the overall quality of care is elevated.


Physical Therapist Supervisor Requirements & Responsibilities:
  • Current Physical Therapist license in New York
  • 1+ years Physical Therapy experience
  • 1+ years Supervisor experience
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Utilize a variety of techniques, including exercise, stretching, and manual therapy to promote patient recovery and rehabilitation
  • Educate patients on proper exercise techniques, pain management strategies, and preventative measures to prevent future injuries.
  • Servicing/Supervising Pediatrics, Geriatrics, or both
  • In person in the field for both evaluations and supervisory visits
  • PT has option to build own caseload of patients 
  • Supervising up to 4 Physical Therapy Assistants
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Amenable to consistent travel throughout their working location
