We are hiring an Associate QA Web Automation Engineer for Paramountplus.com and Paramount™. Are you interested in new media, social activities and television? Paramount Plus is developing the next generation of multimedia and cross-platform entertainment. As an Associate QA Web Automation Engineer, you are expected to think critically and ensure quality throughout the web automation system. The ideal candidate will work with developers, and QA team members to ensure deliverables are timely and meet expectations. This role requires the ability to learn the existing automation processes, maintain the existing suite of tests and develop new automated test cases as part of the automation team.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation code across a variety of web platforms.
• Ensure code pushed into the repository is high quality and reviewed.
• Work closely with the rest of the QA team to ensure most valuable automation coverage.
• As part of the Sprint team, automate test cases and make sure they are delivered within expected timelines.

Basic Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in Java and Selenium.
• Experience using Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools.
• Ability to write/execute test cases/suites for multi-browser application software.
• Outstanding communication, organizational and interpersonal skills with both a technical and non-technical audience.
• Work to consistently improve testing efficiency – including for regression testing.

Additional Qualifications

• BA/BS in computer science or any related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with Postman, Charles Proxy, and/or Rest Assured.
• Defect testing experience across multiple platforms.
• Knowledge of video technologies in both objective C and Java.
• Understanding of Agile test tools and methodologies.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $56,000.00 - 80,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
