Parking Attendant

SUMMARY
Efficiently park event customer cars in a quick, safe and courteous manner. Provide directional support to parking patrons prior to, during and subsequent to an event exit.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Check out necessary equipment such as shirts, flashlights, etc. at beginning of shift in order to perform key tasks
  • Courteously assist customers by answering any questions they may have If necessary
  • Efficiently and quickly direct customers into designated parking area
  • Enforce tailgating and general parking policies with customers
  • Control traffic in designated area as needed
  • Report any known accidents, observed or suspected violations of Company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the Lot Supervisor and/or Area Supervisor
  • Communicate debris, water, oil spills and etc. to Lot Supervisor and/or Area Supervisor
  • Have a thorough knowledge of all areas of Gillette Stadium
  • Special projects and assignments as business dictates
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School education or one month related experience, training or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to take direction
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to customers and other employees of the company
  • Ability to direct traffic using equipment provided
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Ability to work for long periods of time

WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • A dynamic, complex fast-paced environment requires that each individual truly seek to learn and understand from others. Appreciate and value different perspectives to expand your view and approach.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Available to work all mandatory full Stadium events
  • Ability to work in inclement weather
  • The noise level in the WORK ENVIRONMENT is usually loud on event days
