We’ve got what you’re looking for.Job Description:Parsons is looking for a Hardware Design Engineer, Level 2 to support our Engineering Services and Solutions Division, based in Annapolis Junction, MD. The ideal candidate will have 7 - 11 years of professional experience as a hardware design engineer in integrated circuit or microelectronic component design. FPGA/ASIC knowledge required. Will be responsible for investigating COTS software protocols.What You'll Be Doing:• Designs and tests new integrated circuits and hardware components for a wide variety of applications and research.• Designs, documents, and develops code (to include firmware) for digital signal processors or other programmable hardware devices such as Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) and Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) hardware.• Analyzes the function of existing integrated circuits and hardware components.What Required Skills You'll Bring:• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from an accredited college or university. Five years of additional hardware design engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.• Must have a current TS/SCI w/ PolygraphMinimum Clearance Required to Start:Top Secret SCI w/PolygraphThis position is part of our Federal Solutions team.Our Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
