Community-Engaged Alliance (CEA), formerly known as Indiana Campus Compact, invests in its partners through trainings, grants, and professional development. Through that support, administrators, faculty, staff, and community partners are able to make a difference for tens of thousands of community members and students each year. Community-Engaged Alliance is the only organization in the state that works with all institutional levels (public, both large and small, independent, and two-year) as well as community partners. Our partnership is made up of institutions, organizations, and individuals dedicated to engaged teaching and learning, the kind of learning that stays with students as they transition into life after college.

Our Mission: Community-Engaged Alliance enables students to create positive social change by advancing the field of community engagement in higher education through support, education, and collaboration with partners.

Job Summary


The Campus Relations Manager/Assistant will work closely with the Director of Professional Development and Engaged Learning (Director) and report to the Executive Director (ED) to manage key components of the relationship between CEA and our partner campuses.

Department-Specific Responsibilities

  • Manages several relationship components for our campuses including our campus liaison program in which partner campuses name faculty, staff, and student liaisons to work with CEA; annual CEA awards given to faculty, staff, and students at our Annual Summit; annual renewal process for partner campuses.
  • Manages social media communications highlighting the work of our partner campuses.
  • Assists with event and meeting planning including our Summit and Research Symposium, Service-Learning Institute, Pen to Paper writing retreat, Faculty Fellows retreats, and Annual Fall Retreat.
  • Leads annual campus renewal process including the development and tracking of renewal packets and key data sent to Presidents of partner campuses.
  • Develops campus renewal letter and marketing material.
  • Assists the ED and Director with CEA Board and Advisory Council management and communications.
  • Manages partner campus liaison program; works with the Advisory Council and Director to annually solicit and document campus liaison roles for faculty, staff, and students.
  • Communicates CEA updates and opportunities to campus liaisons quarterly.
  • Uses data to tell the story of CEA’s relationship with partner campuses.
  • Markets and coordinates CEA faculty, staff, and student awards.

Qualifications


EDUCATION

Required

  • Bachelor's degree OR
  • 2 years of college and experience in higher education

WORK EXPERIENCE

Required

  • 2 years of professional experience working with membership organization, relationship management, administrative duties, event planning, and marketing

Work Location


This is a fully remote position. However, this is subject to change in the future based on university policy and business needs (except for attendance at CEA events, and occasionally working with CEA staff on partner campuses).

Advertised Salary


$25 per hour.

Work Hours


This part-time position will be up to 20 hours per week.
