Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Part Time Copywriter writes digital and print ad copy, advertorials, blog articles,email campaigns, feature stories and news releases under the guidance of full time staff.The person in this position will conduct research and interviews as well as collaborate with team members and campus departments to develop relevant and strategic written content. The Part Time Copywriter writes copy for other projects as assigned, including-projects related to communications, marketing print, publications, video scripts, website-copy and social media post.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in a journalism, communications or marketing field
• Bachelor's Degree

Job Duties:

• 60% - The Part Time Copywriter writes digital and print ad copy, advertorials, blog articles,email campaigns, feature stories and news releases under the guidance of full time staff. - (Essential)
• 20% - The person in this position will conduct research and interviews as well as collaborate-with team members and campus departments to develop relevant and strategic written content. - (Essential)
