Part Time - Food Service - Cashier
JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Penn State Harrisburg Housing & Food Services is seeking organized and motivated individuals dedicated to providing exceptional customer service as part-time cashiers .
Job Duties
Posting, campus dining dollars, credit cards and other transactions.
Handling money with the ability to compute basic math calculations and use a computerized cash register.
Providing good customer service and answering guests questions.
Keeping areas neat and orderly.
Maintaining a stock of supplies.
Reporting issues and concerns to management team.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Must possess good communication skills, outgoing, and give top priority to customer satisfaction.
Multiple positions/shifts available including weekday, weekend, day, and evening hours. Starting pay rate is $13/hour.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
