The Role:

The Parts Washer will be responsible for performing tasks related to cleaning parts used in manufacturing Ultra High Purity Systems and subassemblies in a class 100 cleanroom work environment. This will include, but not limited to; preparing and washing kits per work instructions and process documentation, filling and maintaining proper levels of water in wash tanks, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment. This position is expected to always operate in a safe manner and comply with all applicable work instructions.

This is a contract position, working 1st shift (7am - 3:30pm pst).

In this role you will:

• Works from instructions, and process documentation to clean UHP parts to required cleanliness levels with supervision.
• Fills wash tanks and prepares kits for cleaning process with supervision.
• Record wash check lists prior to completing wash cycles.
• Dry parts as appropriate before taking them into the clean room.
• Ability to work in Class 100 (ISO 5) environment wearing the appropriate required garments.
• Ability to follow verbal instructions.
• Observe and inform lead technicians of any issues that seem out of the norm with parts or equipment.
• Follow engineering and customer requirement specifications to produce quality and accurate products in a timely manner.
• Performs routine, repetitive cleaning operations and processes to produce quality products in a timely manner.
• Complete 6S responsibilities (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain, safety)
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment and maintain or increase On-Time Shipments
• Ability to work safely and recognize the safety of others.
• Provide accuracy and consistency in work performance.
• Learn proper measuring techniques, tool use, care, and quality standards.
• Work with a team as well as independently when needed.

Traits we believe make a strong candidate:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0-2 years’ experience in automatic or semi-automatic machinery.
• Ability to learn to navigate through operating system to find BOMs, drawings and instructions.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs daily.
• Ability to climb ladders and be on your feet for extended periods of time.
• Focus on attention to detail to drive plant safety and product quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
• Ability to learn how handle material responsibly.
• Dependability and flexibility to work over-time and weekends to support business needs.

Compensation:

• This is a contract position, paying in the $22-23.50/hr range.

• Monday to Friday

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• automatic or semi-automatic machinery: 1 year (Preferred)
• hand and power tools: 1 year (Preferred)
• hands-on mechanical: 1 year (Preferred)
