Responsibilities:
The Patient Specialist will provide clerical support to outpatient staff in a very busy office. Registers and Schedules appointments and transportation for patients.

Perform all general office and reception duties including telephone work, typing, photocopying, faxing, filing, and ordering of office supplies in a timely and efficient manner.

Verify insurance benefits for patients and schedule patient sessions.

Maintain billing as required.

Maintain responsibility of keeping all relevant forms and reports (i.e. case management) current and accurate.

Assist with collection of co-pays and deductibles.

Assist Director and other clinical staff as needed.

Provide support and coverage to the Office Manager as needed.

Ensure that Client Information Packets are accessible to clients.

Consistently documents time in Worforce and Ultipro; adheres to attendance policies.

Other duties as assigned within scope of work.
Qualifications:
All positions require a TST, MMR Titer, the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening (including THC), and satisfactory criminal background records check.
