PatientPoint is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of accounting experience and will be responsible for general ledger accounting, journal entry preparation, and account reconciliation.

Skills
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of NetSuite is a plus but not required.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Assist in maintaining the general ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
Support the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Review and verify the accuracy of journal entries and other financial records.
Perform account reconciliations to ensure all balances are accurate and discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly.
Support the preparation of financial statements and reports.
Assist in the implementation and adherence to internal controls and accounting policies.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data and reporting.
Provide support during audits and assist with audit preparations as needed.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
