Finance Operations Analyst

We’re continuing to invest heavily in building the most talented team in the Creator Economy and are looking for a Finance Operations Analyst to support our mission.

This role is based in San Francisco or New York and open to those who are able to be in-office 2 days per week on a hybrid work model.

About the Role

The Finance Operations Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Finance Operations (FinOps) team on analytics, processes, and tools that will grow and expand Patreon’s spend and deal management analytics, reporting, or related tools.

• Establish and manage a centralized repository of reporting and tracking for FinOps metrics and projects.

• Build associated reports or dashboards for FinOps metrics, projects, and company spend data.

• Develop and maintain cadence of published reporting to deliver just in time insights to Finance and the Business.

• Cleanse and maintain metadata in various systems such as Zip. 

• Analyze and deliver insights on spend data to drive spend decisions for the business.

• Perform ad-hoc analysis as needed.

About You

• 3-5 years experience in analytics, with preference of Finance analytics.

• Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.

• Advances well in learning new systems and tools to be able to set up and manage as a super user or administratively.

• Utilizes keystone data to drive decision making.

• Succinctly delivers insights from large quantities of data with discernment of how to approach data gaps and still deliver key insights required.

• Accustomed to starting from a “zero state” and testing various methodologies or solutions to a given problem statement.

• Experience with a variety of data analysis tools

• Preference for those with experience or exposure to spend management or Finance tools such as Zip, Coupa, NetSuite, or other spend management tools.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong background in data analysis, reporting, and visualization, potentially having experience with multiple visualization tools such as Mode or Tableau.
