Senior Technical Recruiter | Contract

Over 250,000 podcasters, writers, musicians, artists, and other creative people use Patreon to reach their biggest fans directly and earn an income for the value they provide. Creators can offer paid memberships that unlock access to exclusive work and community, or sell individual digital items from their own Patreon shops.

We’re continuing to invest heavily in building the best creator tools with the best team in the creator economy, and are looking for a Senior Technical Recruiter to support our mission. 

This is a 6-month contract working from either our SF or NYC office on a hybrid basis.

What you would do:

• Develop a diverse candidate pipeline for Product and Engineering, emphasizing inclusivity.

• Manage applications, referrals, and passive candidate sourcing using innovative methods.

• Lead the recruitment process end-to-end, from opening roles to closing candidates, ensuring a thorough and efficient approach.

• Partner closely with hiring teams to understand needs and create positive experiences for interviewers and candidates.

• Facilitate interview debriefs and decision-making, providing trusted guidance.

• Report on recruiting metrics to inform strategies and maintain data integrity.

• Collaborate with HR for smooth onboarding and support with US-based tasks.

Skills and experience you possess:

• 7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience hiring for technical roles, with in-house experience from a consumer-facing web/mobile startup.

• Experience sourcing and hiring passive talent, from entry-level to Senior Director. 

• Passion for diversity and inclusion, and experience working with aspirational  top-of-funnel goals to increase the diversity of our pipeline. 

• Interest in developing processes and initiatives that improve recruiting 

• An understanding of technology and the broad tech industry

• Passion for and interest in Patreon's mission

• Experience with applicant tracking systems (Ashby is preferred)

• Strong communication and analytical skills

The posted range represents the expected salary range for this job requisition and does not include any other potential components of the compensation package, benefits and perks previously outlined. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider your experience, leveling, location and other job-related factors.

Range: $60.00 - $70.00/hour
