The New Lenox Public Library District is looking for a driven, responsible individual that is passionate about libraries and supporting our “patrons first” outlook. As a member of the Management Team, the Patron Services Manager will manage a department of three full time and six part time staff, maintain the positive and supportive culture of our library, and contribute to "patron first" customer service experiences.
The successful candidate will direct circulation activities for the library including movement of materials through the patron services desk and registration of patrons, be responsible for supervision of professional and clerical staff, manage and administer the budget for circulation functions, monitor workflows to ensure maximum utilization of human resources, and ensure resolution of problems involving lost or overdue materials and patron registration status.
This full-time position (37.5 hours/week) is non-exempt and IMRF eligible.
