Copywriter

PayMongo is the Philippines’ leading online financial infrastructure. Over the next few years, we will build a broad suite of products to lower barriers and remove complexities in payments and financial services.

We are rapidly expanding to serve the diverse needs of thousands of businesses. To continue this growth, we seek a Copywriter who can develop clear, compelling, and engaging copy for our website, social media, and promotional materials. The ideal candidate will simplify complex fintech concepts to create content easily understood by our customers, helping to build awareness of the PayMongo brand and articulate our value proposition to our target audience. Your work will be critical in ensuring that our messaging appeals to the right customers while effectively communicating the benefits of our products and services.

• Write clear and compelling copy to describe financial and payment products
• Create advertising texts for brochures, online ads, banners, and social networks
• Help design landing pages to ensure attractive and meaningful communication of product features
• Ensure that content is accurate to the product and consistent with our brand and visuals.
• Collaborate with the creative team to produce materials with appealing graphics that complement the text.
• Write and proofread blog posts about our company’s products and services. Implement SEO practices to increase blog posts’ visibility.
• Work with sales and product adoption teams to improve e-mail marketing campaigns and other communications materials.
• Apply SEO principles to maximize reach to our target audience, working closely with our digital marketing team. 
• Conduct competitive research, using information alongside available data to identify our strengths and weaknesses and recommend solutions to address areas of concern.

• You have 3+ years of experience as a copywriter or content creator
• You have excellent writing and proofreading skills
• You have an existing portfolio of published articles and online marketing campaigns
• You have hands-on experience with Content Management Systems and an excellent working knowledge of SEO and keyword research tools.
• You thrive on working with online marketing campaigns and using social media for business.
• You are adept in English and Filipino languages, a self-starter, a creative problem solver, and a strategic thinker.
• You are stimulated to work with cross-functional teams.
• You can accomplish tasks with quality in an agile environment with minimal supervision.
