Our mission is to revolutionize commerce globally to make moving money, selling and shopping, personalized and secure.Job Description Summary:Lead the legal marketing functions for our small business and enterprise teams.Job Description:We are looking for a mid to senior level attorney to support our global marketing legal functions, primarily for our small business and enterprise teams. Must have experience with fast-paced global teams and their initiatives, and be able to provide expert legal advice for a large quantity of matters on a daily basis, spanning all types of media. Including but not limited to; social, digital, print, website content, user experience, product screens, television and radio. Experience with promotional initiatives such as sweepstakes, contests and giveaways preferred. General knowledge of global privacy a plus.This role will include focusing on the following:• Advise on the legal implications of new SMB and Enterprise products, services and experiences being developed for and launched in the U.S.;• Provide advice for Sales, Small Business, Enterprise and Public Relations/Communications marketing initiatives, including financial services marketing, on digital communications, email, content marketing, press releases and various types of sponsored content;• Fully engage with compliance groups, product, and other legal teams to provide comprehensive advice to the marketing and sales businesses, consistently applying knowledge of the FTC and CFPB rules and regulations and the current legal and regulatory framework;• Provide guidance on claim substantiation, reviewing analytic reports, surveys, whitepapers and other corroborating evidence typically relied upon to support claims;• Participate in drafting and negotiating marketing-related portions of partner and vendor agreements;• Help to develop trainings and update marketing legal guardrails to meet the ever-changing landscape that evolves as new laws and regulations come into practice.Additional Job Description:Subsidiary:PayPalTravel Percent:0-PayPal is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.Actual Compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to work location, and relevant skills and experience.The total compensation for this practice may include an annual performance bonus (or other incentive compensation, as applicable), equity, and medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
