Payroll and HR Team Leader

Delrin® is a premium business within DuPont with employees in 13 countries. This is an exciting opportunity to join this business and lead the global manufacturing function into the future. We are seeking a team member who is excited to be part of establishing a new HR organization within the Delrin® business to support a global team. This role will be located at the DuPont Washington Works Delrin® location.

We are looking for a highly motivated Payroll and HR Team Leader to provide operational and administrative leadership to HR Shared Service teams.

Your key responsibilities will be:

In this position, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Provides operational and administrative leadership to HR Shared Services teams.
  • Recommends and implements changes in methods to improve process efficiency.
  • Maintains and improves internal control processes in accordance to Company standards.
  • Analyzes and resolves complex issues.
  • Ensures programs meet productivity requirements.
  • Manages client relationships and resolves major quality, service or operations issues.
  • Responsible for implementing effective strategies, systems, processes.
  • Manages and develops front-line and/or second-line managers.
  • Provides back-up to team members during times of high volume or when team members are absent.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

A successful candidate must have:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of Human Resources experience with strong focus on administration preferably in a BPO or Shared Services setting.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years in a supervisory position or operational management.
  • Fluent English (spoken and written).

Skills desirable but not mandatory are:

  • Experience managing/developing a teams handling complex processes.
  • Critical thinking and problem solving.
  • Extensive stakeholder management experience.
  • Extensive experience with shared services technology tools.
  • Extensive experience developing and implementing customer service strategies.
  • Change champion, results orientation.
  • Superior communication skills.
  • Experience working in a global environment.
