A DAY IN THE LIFE:
- Process weekly & bi-weekly payroll for union and non-union employees

Order, distribute and maintain pay cards for associate

Balance weekly/bi-weekly reports associated with the processing of payroll

Maintain any associate address changes to ensure they are being taxed properly
-
Assist in the W2 process

Track guaranteed bonus payouts

Enter and ensure accuracy of all withholding orders, garnishments and tax levy’s

Process labor related job cost transfers

Work with associates to answer all payroll-related questions

Assist Payroll Manager with various projects
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

3-5 years' in-house payroll experience preferred.

Knowledge of state reciprocity, W2’s, and withholding taxes preferred.

Previous experience with multi-state payroll taxes preferred.

Must be customer service oriented.

Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Have a team player attitude.

Able to work in fast paced environment.

Ability to prioritize workload to meet processing deadlines.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Possess strong organizational skills.
-
Ability to work independently, multi-task, and demonstrate strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Prior union payroll experience considered a plus.
