RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client in Chicago, IL is looking for a Payroll Specialist to help their team for 6+ months during some movement at the company.
Responsibilities:
- The Payroll Specialist will prepare, enter, and upload payroll in Workday
- US multistate, bi-weekly payroll
- Assist with international payrolls
- Ensure W2's are handled in a timely and efficient manner
- Process wage assignments, child support orders, garnishments, and tax levies
- The Payroll Specialist will answer payroll questions from employees
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong Excel experience (pivot tables, vlookups, basic formulas, edit and format files) required with the ability to demonstrate
- Workday experience strongly preferred but experience in other systems could be acceptable
- Experience processing bi-weekly payroll multistate payroll at a large company
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
