The Role
We are looking for a highly-driven Product Manager with deep experience building payment technology and banking services solutions, passionate about solving customer problems with elegant solutions, and has a track record working with financial technology services at scale..
At Peek, you will think big to identify new opportunities, dive deep into data to uncover insights, and deliver customer value in a fast-paced environment. You will be joining a high performing team of Product Managers, Designers, Engineers and Analysts who have a track record of shipping industry leading solutions for customers around the world.
This position will report to the Director of Product; Payments with extensive cross-functional interaction.
Our team is “remote-first”, however, we prefer candidates in the same time zones as the greater United States (UTC-10 to UTC-4).
Responsibilities
Understand operators’ pain points with a high level of empathy and passion. You will not shy away from customer interviews.
Describe customer problems with clarity and talent. You will be able to drive alignment and excitement among stakeholders in a remote environment.
Be the product generalist, able to problem solve and do whatever it takes to advocate for customers and ensure product quality.
Conduct user research to gather and analyze qualitative and quantitative data.
Drive the creation of Peek’s Banking-as-a-Service solution, to manage how payouts are accounted for, managed and delivered to Peek Merchants.
Engage extensively with customers and internal teams to understand user needs and translate those needs into a compelling roadmap for Peek’s Banking-as-a-Service solution.
Manage large projects from start to finish and a backlog of innovative features and technical requirements to deliver a world class Banking-as-a-Service solution experience.
Outline roadmap, set priorities, and drive features through their entire lifecycle: ideation, definition, development, release, analysis, and iteration.
Collaborate. With excellent communication skills, drive feature adoption by collaborating with Product Ops and various internal stakeholders across Finance, Sales, Operations on go-to-market strategies.
Tackle complex problems and simplify them into clear next steps and rally stakeholders around them.
Stay hyper-focused on usage and customer data. Combine qualitative and quantitative data and seamlessly incorporate these insights into product improvements.
Qualifications
Experience building systems to manage the distribution of payments to merchants is required.
Proficient with tools such as Adobe, JIRA, Asana, Figma, Sketch, Google Analytics, Grafana, InVision, Keynote, Microsoft Office, Slack.
Experience as a User Experience (UX) Designer
Experience with the SDLC/product lifecycle to ensure high quality product delivery.
Experience working in an operations or management capacity, with an understanding of building business development relationships and maintaining global partnerships.
A track record of managing programs and building product marketing campaigns.
Banking-as-a-Service solution Product management experience, shipping high quality products that solve customer problems.
A driving desire for continuous product improvement, with a keen eye for details that drive great product experiences.
Shipped user-facing or API driven products in the banking/financial services industry
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to function with a high level of autonomy in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Experience working with a high-performing team of software engineers in an agile development environment.
Strong data mindset to understand product usage and identify opportunities to drive high-impact changes and improvements to the product.
Experience working in a startup environment and/or on building zero- to-one products.
Preferably would have experience managing international financial products or services
